Clint Alwahab's Time Closet Flickr set 8:56 AM Friday, July 04, 2008 I've been working on some stuff for Seth's new feature length movie, The Time Closet. Official blog here: http://timeclosetshoot.blogspot.com The thing I've been doing is an old Sierra/LucasArts style computer game that's supposed to be featured in the movie. 10:40 AM Tuesday, June 10, 2008 So... Eleanor is in town for a few days. That's cool. Jessie, Ellie, and I went to see Horton Hears a Who last night at the cheap theater, and it was pretty good. 1:53 PM Saturday, February 02, 2008 I've never seen RoboCop. Is it worth watching? ![]() Labels: film 10:55 PMWednesday, December 26, 2007 Persepolis Go ahead and watch this movie when it comes out. If you've got about 10 minutes, you should check out the making of the film here (in the videos section). Every frame was hand drawn and then traced by real human beings on actual paper. If I had given into despair, everything would have been lost. So up until the last moment, I'll hold my head high and keep laughing because they won't get the best of me. As long as you're alive you can protest and shout, yet laughter is the most subversive weapon of all.9:06 AM Wednesday, November 14, 2007 Guess what movie Robert and I just saw in the theatre? I'll give you a hint: Hey you guys! 12:39 AM Monday, February 12, 2007 Coupland on TV. Although the article doesn't really tell you much, the idea of a Douglas Coupland science fiction TV series sounds pretty awesome to me. I'm still waiting to see Everything's Gone Green (trailer). 12:27 PM Tuesday, November 07, 2006 Pictures!!! Here is one from the other night when Jessie, Doni, and I went to see The Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D. What? It's not cool to wear the shirt of the movie you're going to see? ![]() As cool as I look pretty much all the time, I wasn't as cool looking as this fine, young, dead couple. ![]() Jessie! ![]() Reeve and Jessie!! ![]() Chattanooga, TN!!! Chattanooga is a pretty nice city. Wait a second... what's that in the lower right hand corner? ![]() Oh! Why, it's a dog on a fire hydrant, of course.

Friday, October 20, 2006 It's Friday. I got up at 6:10 to be at work at 7:00. Tomorrow I have to close. I hate this fluctuating schedule. Guess what comes out in the theatre today? The Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D! Guess who's going to see that piece tonight? Me and Jessie! WHAT! Labels: film 3:16 PMSunday, October 01, 2006 Yesterday I finished watching The Godfather DVD collection. I enjoyed them all. Man, what a long and sad story. I cried at the end. Then I went to work. Tonight I hung out with Jessie. We went to the Chickamauga battlefield and then watched American Splendor. Is a very good one. Plus, Jessie made some killer cheesey pork. Tomorrow I go to work very early. This guy Derek that I work with plays music sometimes with the guy from that old band Annie. Remember those guys? Check out the band here: The Good Players 11:17 PM Tuesday, September 19, 2006 The Science of Sleep. Labels: film 11:50 AMTuesday, September 12, 2006 Would you like to hear one of my poems? 4:46 PM Saturday, August 26, 2006 Is a very good one. Is nice. The Kirby's own the Alien Quadrilogy, so you know what that means... I gotta watch 'em all. I think I'm going to apply for a job or 3 at UTC here in Chattanooga. We'll see what happens. A brother like me doesn't have much experience in the real job world. "Can't hurt to try," is what I've been told. But I've also heard, "Do, or do not. There is no try." Who should I believe? Mere mortals? Or a Jedi master? 1:15 PM Tuesday, May 30, 2006 It's late. I watched X-men 3 tonight, and I liked it a lot. Even better than that, though, is that Toby was excited to see me, and even better than that is that he ate food and drank water-a-plenty. I was afraid he was on a hunger strike. Just for kicks, go listen to this band: Corban Eldra And read this comic: A Lesson is Learned, but the Damage is Irreversible. 2:00 AM Thursday, April 27, 2006 I just watched a Star Trek movie. I like ST:TNG, so there. Here is a mildly entertaining video of a repetitive song someone videotaped at Beepcon'06: Reeve Hunter - You Hold Us Down 2:15 AM Friday, April 07, 2006 I think I would like to see this Beastie Boys movie. I wonder if it's showing anywhere. 11:46 AM Monday, October 06, 2003 Plans for the week included: Finish reading : The Time Machine Read : We Watch : Finding Nemo (dolla fifty theatre) Watch : Nightmare Before Christmas (big screen in Dallas) 8:03 PM Wednesday, October 01, 2003 I watched Frankenstein last night! They warned me, but I did it anyway!!! I just finished reading a book by G. K. Chesterton called The Man Who was Thursday. According to the author, it's a book about pessimism. I guess it's pretty good. I liked it. (Zellyn, I think you might enjoy it.) "They were walking like old friends, and were in the middle of a conversation about some triviality. But Syme could only feel an unnatural buoyancy in his body and a a crystal simplicity in his mind that seemed to be superior to everything that he said or did. He felt he was in possession of some impossible good news, which made every other thing a triviality, but an adorable triviality." 6:12 PM ![]() |
