Labels: news 5:36 PMTuesday, September 02, 2008 I'm in Waco for the week. It's been pretty relaxed so far. I've been able to eat and talk with a few friends. Today I had to work, which was a bit lame, but not the worst thing in the world. I had some time to make a track for a new song I'm going to try do on Saturday. Fresh! Starting today, Jessie has a new student in her class that's probably going to be quite a challenge. Hopefully she can get the help she needs to adjust well and keep going with her insane job. Labels: news 5:35 PMThursday, July 31, 2008 I sure am bored. Labels: news 3:47 PMFriday, July 04, 2008 I've been working on some stuff for Seth's new feature length movie, The Time Closet. Official blog here: http://timeclosetshoot.blogspot.com The thing I've been doing is an old Sierra/LucasArts style computer game that's supposed to be featured in the movie. 10:40 AM Tuesday, June 10, 2008 So... Eleanor is in town for a few days. That's cool. Jessie, Ellie, and I went to see Horton Hears a Who last night at the cheap theater, and it was pretty good. 1:53 PM Thursday, April 03, 2008 Well, I started full-time with Guest Services this Week. Figures they'd welcome me in to a design position with Comic Sans! ![]() Saturday, March 29, 2008 Our friend Travis, who served as the contemporary worship pastor at First Christian Church where Jessie & I go on Sunday mornings, just got released from his duties! That's Christian for "fired". They let him know on Thursday and asked him to take all his stuff home the same day. Whack. Jessie and I will be going tomorrow morning just to see what happens. Apparently they are going to discuss why Travis isn't there. I'll be interested to see what they have to say. I'm also interested to find out what I might have to say. In other news, I am starting on Monday full-time for Guest Services Publishing. That means I'll be sitting at my house from 9-5:30 on weekdays designing adverts! No more slacking or watching The Tick on Hulu.com. Labels: news 5:51 PMTuesday, March 25, 2008 Wifeblog. It was good to see friends and family. Jessie visited her grandad in Florida last week as he was not doing very well. She was able to spend a good deal of time with him in the hospital, and we are both glad she was able to see him. We will be traveling down to Pensacola on Friday for his funeral. Meryll will be coming into town tonight and will be playing a show at the old Cafe MiAroma tomorrow night with me, Charles Allison, and Mermaid Police. Click for a flyer (images stolen from Seth W.) 3:27 PM Wednesday, January 02, 2008 Jessie & I locked ourselves out of our new house last night at around 11:40 when we walked out to take Paloma for a walk. Our new house has those handles that open from the inside even when they are locked on the outside. It was snowing and friggin' cold outside. Neither of us have any house or car keys. Luckily, when we ran 4 blocks to Michael, Jordan, and Joseph's house, Brittany was there, and she was able to give us a ride to the Kirby's house in downtown Chattanooga where my parents are staying for a few days. I slept on the couch and got up at 7:10 to walk to my ultra-boring temp job 3 blocks down the road which is where I am now, typing this silly story. Have an extra key made. Hide it somewhere outside your house. Here's a short video for your viewing pleasure: Bubbles 9:20 AM Monday, December 31, 2007 Things to do this week: 1. Good one. Friday, December 21, 2007 Jessie and I are renting a house in St. Elmo. It's tiny. We like it. Hopefully all of our things will fit inside. In 2 weeks we'll be getting married. Then we go on holiday together. Thank you Jesus. Labels: news 4:28 PMWednesday, December 19, 2007 It's late. I just watched Home Alone at the Bijou. It was alright. Today was hoodie weather, for sure, and I remembered how much I love Autumn. It fits when I'm thinking, when I'm sad, when I'm grateful, when I'm asleep, when I'm doing things. I played a show tonight (Thursday). It was one of my favorites that I've done since being here in Chattanooga. Chattanooga. Does it fit? Places are hard to get used to. Jessie and I are pretty much jobless (aside from the graphic design thats been keeping me from going under). It's been really nice being able to spend time with Jessie during the week when she would normally be at work. The best part is she'll be visiting Waco with me next week. This is both dope and fresh. Pinback has some good songs. I turn pictures of old surgical manuals into photoshop brushes and use them as background textures in generic-looking advertisements. What do you do? Worked on a smash hit for an upcoming blockbuster. Got my A reasonably wet by ambulating in some rather severe precipitation. Labels: news 8:17 PMWednesday, May 30, 2007 I started doing temp work yesterday. It was very easy/boring, but the time went by pretty quickly, so that's great. Bad part is I finished all the work I was supposed to do yesterday and today by 3 of the clock yesterday, so I worked myself out of a job. Too bad I didn't take longer to do the same amount of work. I could have got paid twice as much. At the recommendation of my brother, Zellyn, I've been reading this: Why's Poignant Guide to Ruby It's a programming language, so watch out. If you don't care, at least check out the soundtrack. SERIOUSLY! DO IT!! 6:32 PM Monday, May 21, 2007 I just went for an assessment and interview with an office job placement company. Looks like I'm a temp worker now. Just got Talks to the Dark in the mail. Try not to talk to me for the next hour. I'm really busy. [edit] I love good things. 1:23 PM Sunday, May 06, 2007 I didn't get the McKay job. But they did send me a letter in the mail telling me that I didn't get the job, which is both greatly appreciated and not normal. I played a show just now. It was pretty fun. Jessie, along with some of her honors program buds, is being honored tomorrow at a lunch thing at UTC. She hasn't been in school for at least a year, and some how she manages to graduate. Niiice. I've watched every episode of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. Now what do I do? 8:43 PM Tuesday, February 06, 2007 I don't feel so good. Sleepy time. Labels: news 1:04 PMThursday, February 01, 2007 It snowed quite a bit last night. I walked to work at 6:30 through fresh snow. Weird. Cody Ground (of Loxsly, Battlecat, and original drummer for Math Minor) did a cover of a Reeve song. Listen to it here: Foodweb 12:28 PM Tuesday, January 23, 2007 Reeve is 25 as of Sunday. Here's what happened: Slept in. Went to McKay and got these dope albums with my McKay credit: They Might Be Giants - Apollo 18 (nice!) They Might Be Giants - John Henry (niiice!) The Wallflowers - Bringing Down the Horse (you heard me) Toad the Wet Sprocket - Fear (niiiiiiice!) Went to Guitar Center and messed with the MPCs (please?). Had some cuddies over for cheese snacks. Jessie got me a sweet cookie cake decorated like a quarter. She tried to draw an orange beard on that guy on the quarter, but it looked kind of like the guy was puking sick orange mess. The cake also featured the words "In Reeve We Trust" in an arch over the top. Sacrilicious! Couldn't believe this one, but Beth (my roommate) thought it would be a good idea to get me a computer, so she went in with her parents and they got me a new laptop. Crazy. I couldn't believe it. When it was still wrapped and on the table I thought it might be Apples to Apples Crate Edition. Not so, my friends. Not so. I've kind of wanted my own computer for years, but I've never really had one (aside from the p33nz [thanks c]). Now I've got one that is small, quiet, lovely. I don't know much about a computa... Robert Parker, old school cudro and newest resident of Beck Manor, downloaded a bazillion Damien Jurado albums for a brother. NICE! Oh man. Does ol' Damien have a bad song? Seriously, does he? Tell me if you know that he does, cause I need to know. Yesterday (celebrating the day after Reeve's b-day) I hung out pretty much all day with Jessie. We went to Mitch and Elizabeth's farm in Chickamauga and walked all around there with Jessie's puppy (Jessie got a puppy). Good times. 9:59 PM Tuesday, January 09, 2007 From my house to work (leisurely): bike: 10 min walk: 35 min drive: ? min Jessie helped me pick out some very awesome new sheets since the ones I bought a few days back turned out to be gross, shiny metallic looking sickness when I took them out of the wrapping. My new bed is wicked. I also got a new jacket that is perfect. Jealous? The Good Players are finally playing a show or 2 in town. Niiice!! 7:54 PM Thursday, January 04, 2007 3 things. New House - Beth Kirby and I moved a little stuff over to our new house yesterday. Today we will move more things. Becky was very kind getting both Beth and I mattresses (matrices?) for the new house. Hooray. Kil Haole Day - you need to click here and listen to this music. Labels: news 11:12 PMWednesday, December 20, 2006 One time Tim Carter and I went to a Turtle Touch show in this giant cave. Tim snuck his mini-disc recorder in, and we got a sample of their hit song: Turtle Touch Michael Roddy and I are not moving into a house together. His financial situation will not permit it at the moment. Turns out it'll be Beth Kirby and me. We signed a lease yesterday for a nice, old house in North Chattanooga. As soon as I get back from Waco, I'll move my stuff from the Kirby's to my new house. 12:34 PM It's late and I need to go to bed. I'm flying to Waco tommorrow to spend the holidays with my family. Last time we were all together, someone got married! I wonder what's going to happen this time? Sleepy... But first, here go some songs live from Beepcon06: Shortbread Tell the Story Talk to the Walls We've Had Time Honestly, the performance here is not so great. Just pretend it sounded a ton better in concert. I tried to choose mostly music I don't have recorded. Thanks to whoever recorded this stuff. Frugalpole? Was it you? 12:47 AM Wednesday, December 13, 2006 Well, here is some actual news from Reeve. Michael Roddy (a guy that I work with) and I just paid a deposit on a house in North Chattanooga. It's old, but in good shape. It has a separate downstairs that is pretty much its own apartment that we will probably try to rent out to somebody (hopefully someone we know). Michael is moving in on Monday. I'll probably move a little of my stuff in then and then move myself in when I get back from the holidays in Waco, TX (where I'll be Dec. 20th to the 30th). Sunday, October 22, 2006 So, I've never seen a 3D movie before. It was pretty dope. I got a pretty funny compliment the other day. I went into work to check the schedule on the crazy cold last Friday. Ann from work said I was the perfect example of a winter man. Apparently it was my multiple layers of clothing as well as my personality. What does that mean?! Later on, Jessie told me how she was trying to describe my music to someone at her work. She kind of had a hard time classifying it and ended up saying, "It's different... from itself." Comedy! 12:32 PM Tuesday, September 26, 2006 Last night for dinner I went to India Mahal with Jessie, her mom, and David. David turned 20. After dinner we watched some My Name is Earl and I played David's NintendoDS. I don't know if you knew this, but man, those new video game devices are crazy. When I got home, I walked down to Greyfriar's for some tea. I talked to Cecile on the telephone last night, and apparantly things have been changing quite a bit back at Barron Estates in Waco. Jimmy Hicks moved in and Rudy moved out. So now the house is full of young, white Americans. And one Japanese highschool exchange student. Labels: news 12:12 PMMonday, September 18, 2006 Here's the news, Cudrostiltskin: I've been in Chattanooga for a full-on 4 weeks now. I tried to get a job at the University, but it didn't happen. The Montessorri School won't have me. I haven't heard about that grammar fixing job, but that's alright. Anyway, I talked to Alan at Greyfriar's, and it looks like I'll be working the old coffee shop here in Chattanooga. Barista for life. Or till I can find another job. Labels: news 11:18 PMMonday, September 11, 2006 I've my father's tastes and hurt. I've my mother's worries and mouth. ... We fall into patterns quickly. We fall in patterns too quickly. - Owls, Anyone Can Have a Good Time I applied for a job as a copy editor today. I've got the education requirements down. Let's pray they don't need someone experienced, 'cause a brother like me is not. I can make a wicked latte, though... I've been watching a lot of Firefly (thanks to Robair) and listening to the Owls. 5:49 PM Saturday, August 26, 2006 Is a very good one. Is nice. The Kirby's own the Alien Quadrilogy, so you know what that means... I gotta watch 'em all. I think I'm going to apply for a job or 3 at UTC here in Chattanooga. We'll see what happens. A brother like me doesn't have much experience in the real job world. "Can't hurt to try," is what I've been told. But I've also heard, "Do, or do not. There is no try." Who should I believe? Mere mortals? Or a Jedi master? 1:15 PM Monday, August 21, 2006 What just happened? Jessie flew in to Waco on Friday. I threw a bunch of stuff away and packed a bunch of other stuff. Meanwhile, Reeve (me) is wee bit sick. We left Waco at 5:45 in the morning CST (aka Balls Early) and got to Jessie's around sleepy time. My car rules. The next day (today) I made some terrible oatmeal. It was like boarding school food from a Roald Dahl story. Lunch was better. Dinner was best. Plus I'm feeling a lot better today. Jessie has to go back to work tomorrow. Tonight I am staying at the Kirby's where I'll be staying temporarily til I can find a place. I like the Kirbys. Except Becky won't let me buy groceries. My bike got stolen 2 weeks ago. Jared saw a guy riding it a week and a half later. Turns out a guy's bike had been stolen a few days before, and he had bought my bike off some neighborhood fellas for just $35. So a guy was kind enough to bring my bike back to Barron Estates the day before I moved to Waco and Jared paid a guy the 35 big ones back. That was cool. My bike rules. Labels: news 11:25 PMWednesday, August 16, 2006 I have been sitting around. Today I moved all my ish to my parents house and started sorting through it to figure out what is coming with me, what is staying here til I can get it later, and what is going to Barkin' Basement. While going through all my crap, I came upon this recording on the ol' digi-8-track recording device. Taylor and I made this one day for no good reason. Kind of stupid, kind of funny. Shopping Cart Jessie is flying in to Waco on Friday (zero weekends and 2 sleeps from now). Then we Wednesday, August 02, 2006 We're back from tour a day or 2 early. Right now I'm in Houston hanging out with the Price family. I had a dream last night that I went to U-haul in Houston but forgot to drop off the trailer, so I was going to have to go back before driving back to Waco. Sometimes dreams are stupid. I want to hear some Magnetic Fields. 11:09 AM Friday, July 21, 2006 I'm in Champaign. Funnily enough, being on tour has been much, much easier than preparing for the stupid thing. Now that everything is pretty much planned, I don't really have anything to worry about. I've felt pretty peaceful. I'm moving in less than a month. Crazy. Trent and Leah will be coming down to Goshen, IL, to experience the rock spectacle that is My Korean Friends. Also to hang out. I get to see them and the Indiana sect of the Owens family. Should be sweet. Labels: news 11:25 AMFriday, July 14, 2006 So, D-bag Crowell is going to be joining the My Korean Friends tour from Tulsa to Indianapolis. Should be freaking sweet. On top of that, a friend of his is hooking us up with a really good deal on a trailer. Nice one. We will be playing on Saturday in Itasca, TX. We'll come home after the show and then we will exit Tejas for our first out of state show in Tulsa, OK. Cuddies. What's going to happen? Should be fun. Labels: news 3:13 PMWednesday, July 05, 2006 Things are moving. Moving pretty damn fast. 2 times this week I have almost disappeared. My parents are thousands of miles away. My brothers, a thousand each. I couldn't sleep last night, so I looked for God in Indian Springs Park. I didn't see him, but I think he might have been there. One of my favorite bands in the world, Meryll, has new songs for you to listen to. This music is so good. 3:48 PM Monday, June 26, 2006 American Sasquatch has somehow exceeded it's show quota for the year playing 3 shows already in 2006. What happened? This weekend, Jared, Timmy, Ceci, Jason, and I went to PAPA Festival in Knoxville, TN. It was a pretty good time. We had the chance to hang out with cuddies that we don't see too often. Infradig played, which is pretty much always amazing. Timbre was there, as well, playing harp with Me Without You. Jessie and her mom came up from Chattanooga for a few hours on Saturday night which was nice. Jessie's mom got pretty into the Psalters set. The Psalters tend to get pretty nuts what with the drums and the dancing and the fire breathing. I kept thinking, "man, I can't believe Shay played with these guys". Today, I chill. 12:31 PM Sunday, June 18, 2006 half bear, other half cat Well... Everything for the My Korean Friends CD has been recorded. We should be mixing that piece here in the next few days. So there. I feel like I've been mad busy recently with getting ready to record and then actually recording as well as getting ready to play at Steve and Marybeth's wedding that took place yesterday. Anyway, all this recording and wedding business is over now. This weekend Jessie and Doni came to visit from GA/TN, so I didn't just sit around and do mostly nothing all weekend, I sat around and did mostly nothing all weekend with cuddies. Cuddies, however, had to leave this morning, so they took a bunch of my stuff with them in their rental car (thanks Jessie's mom). That's right, little pieces, I shall be following my things to Chattanooga in a couple of months. Here's a little summary about why I'm moving: Rocky Top So, there you have it. I think the first and last verses are especially applicable. 3:30 PM Tuesday, May 30, 2006 It's late. I watched X-men 3 tonight, and I liked it a lot. Even better than that, though, is that Toby was excited to see me, and even better than that is that he ate food and drank water-a-plenty. I was afraid he was on a hunger strike. Just for kicks, go listen to this band: Corban Eldra And read this comic: A Lesson is Learned, but the Damage is Irreversible. 2:00 AM Sunday, May 28, 2006 This week I am taking care of a cute dog. I can't stop thinking about this My Korean Friends album we are about to be recording. In 2 weeks, C-span will be making his way to Waco, TX, to engineer that piece. If you have any ideas for a good album cover, holla at a brother. Labels: news 11:06 PMMonday, May 22, 2006 I spent 3 nights at Leisure Camp with 30 7th and 8th graders. Buck Wild. I floated down the river with about 11 of them and one other chaparone. Kind of tricky when some of the kids can't swim. We also ended up going to SeaWorld where I rode roller coasters ad nauseam and saw the Shamu show, 'Believe'. If the show is supposed to make you believe that killer whales can make you very wet, then it worked. Wednesday is the last day for Waco public schools. That means I am out of a job. Labels: news 12:30 PMTuesday, May 16, 2006 Tomorrow I head off on a 4 day field trip to San Marcos/San Antonio to see rivers and Sea World and Wonder World and other ish. Labels: news 11:21 AMFriday, March 31, 2006 As many of you know, I have been substitute teaching in schools across Waco, TX. When I first started, I took a long term subbing position at University High School teaching an Integrated Physics and Chemistry class. I had to give assignments, grade papers, whatnot. It was really nice to have the same kids every day, but it was not so nice to have to do all that work all the time. I had the option of teaching there til the end of the year for better pay, but I said no thanks. For the last day I was there, I made the students a little going away present: A stupid song that I performed for each class. Here is the recording from 6th period (my favorite class, but don't tell anyone). 6th Period 10:00 PM Friday, March 24, 2006 In honor of Timmy Carter's double dozen b-day yesterday, we at Baron Estates, Waco, made a little trip to SkateWorld! What better way to spend a birthday than out rollerskating with friends? Afterwards we went to Baris. Afterwards we went home. Afterwards we ate a chocolate cake (thanks Ceci) upon which the crispy remnants of sprinkled sparklers glistened with sulfuric deliciousness (thanks Timmy). Afterwards I went to bed. Afterwards I got up and came to work. The other night (Wednesday) I had the pleasure of sharing some homemade Hummus with Daniel, Haley, and Sam. We proceeded to play an intense game of Donkey followed shortly thereafter by a game of Apples to Apples (dust to dust). What! Labels: news 10:55 AMFriday, March 10, 2006 I live with 6 other people in a house we occasionally refer to as 'Baron Estates', a funny, Rich South-sounding name that Jared came up with. One of my roommates, Steve Meadows, is leaving in the near future due to marriage, moving, whatnot. If you don't know Steven, then you don't know that he owns his own Tile Company (Meadows Tile), and you probably don't know that he is a really cool guy. The reason I bring up Steve is this: There is a certain kind of person indigenous to the Southland that has the ability to casually drop the most hilarious colloquialisms into regular conversation without thinking twice about it. Klif Kinnamon used to immitate this kind of speech with 100% perfection due, I'm sure, to his status as a proud Southerner. Here's a few examples of what I'm talking about. 1 - How about the other day at Jason's Deli. Steven orders his potato, goes to pay, gets his receipt back... What is the polite thing to say? Why, "grassy ass," of course. Shameless. 2 - "Man, where did I put my _________? I can't find it/them anywhere." The classic Steve response to this scenario is, "if it was up your butt, you'd know it." Crude, but to the point... or is it? 3 - Just last night, Steve and I were talking about his future plans of marriage, moving, shutting his business, and whatnot. Understandably, Steven has been a little freaked out by the upcoming changes even though none of these changes are actually bad. It's all just "mind games," Steven tells me. He's just thinking too much about stuff that is going to be totally sweet. "You know," Steve says to me as he smokes his last ciggy of the day out on the upstairs porch, "I'm just pole-vaulting mouse turds." So there you have it. Well everyone, I think I'm going to go take me a little bike ride. "Hey Reeve." Yeah Steven? "Why don't you go take you a little bike ride." Yeah, that sounds like a pretty good idea, Steve. Why didn't I think of that... 10:55 PM Thursday, March 02, 2006 My dad and I are flying to New Jersey to pick up an RV. We will be driving it back to Waco leaving NJ on Sunday and getting back on Tuesday or Wednesday. Should be fun. Labels: news 9:11 PMSunday, February 19, 2006 I am in Dallas right now at D and Mrs. Bag's apartment. Wicked strange time I'm having lately. Jessie P. has been here for a week, and that sure has been a good time. My parents get back in town tomorrow, and that should be very nice. Can I divulge that I wish to create something meaningful? I want to write songs and poetry. Maybe stories. I want to draw/paint pictures. I would like to build bookshelves. It feels like it is time to do this stuff. Teach me to plant a garden. Labels: news 1:04 AMWednesday, January 11, 2006 Update 2006 Since the summer, I have been working at Common Grounds, the local coffee shop that I worked at previously during one of my Baylor years. Just recently, a little before Christmas, I quit my job working at CG's, never to return. While all this was going on, I spent some time (2 months) living with Sharon and her family, the Bernards. In October, I moved into a house with 5 other cuddies including Timmy Carter from Georgia. 2 more people moved into the house in the last 2 weeks making it a grand total of 8 cuddies living up in this piece. New Job That's right, everyone, I have a job. I am now a substitue teacher. I received a call this weekend to work from January 9th til the end of the month. Turns out the situation is pretty jacked. Apparently the teacher that was there before quit in the middle of the year. So, long story short, I'm probably going to be teaching there for the rest of the year. It's weird. Labels: news 6:27 PMThursday, July 07, 2005 I am in Bloomington, Illinois. Meryll are playing their last show of the mini-tour tonight in Bloomington (home of Art Silva's family) and then heading home tomorrow morning. It has been pretty sweet. Art, Kyle, and I visited Chicago a couple of days ago making a stop at the Art Institute and the Contemporary Art Museums. Good times. It will be good to be back in Waco. Labels: news 5:54 PMThursday, June 23, 2005 I found this old Haiku that I guess I wrote in January, 2004: As one who is drunk, He stumbles through the shadows Losing mad hit points!!!1 Amazing, really. Tonight is the first Meryll show of the 2 week Meryll tour that I will be participating in. 3:45 PM Monday, October 20, 2003 Today I had a test in my 9 o'clock Geology class. oops. One more test today at 7:30pm. Dookie. I made plans and carried out some of them. I didn't make plans and did some other stuff anyways. This combination of planning things and not planning things sometimes works pretty well. Best couple-o-weeks in months. Labels: news 5:32 PMFriday, October 17, 2003 Today was a holiday at Baylor U. I slept till later than I needed to (probably not a great thing) and hung out with Eleanor. I decided that I could probably use a holiday--one that lasts a good while. I suppose this is what I'm going to get when I graduate. If anyone wants to go ballroom dancing tomorrow night, let me know. It's fun. Labels: news 7:15 PMSunday, October 12, 2003 Best week in months. Labels: news 11:30 PMThursday, September 25, 2003 I played drums for the last semi-official time at Antioch Community Church's college service last night. It was probably one of the better times that I've had playing drums at Dwelling Place, as they call it. It was more laid back than usual, which is good. A couple of times this week I have had the sensation, or perhaps have just imagined, that I was flying. But more like floating than what you might think of as flying--floating up off of the ground and a small distance into the air. Today as I was walking to my car after my class, I unexpectedly did this inside my head. It was almost like I was imagining, but more like I was remembering. You know how when you do something and it reminds you of another thing from your past that was unusually good, it can make you feel amazing inside for just a few seconds? I can't explain it, but it was something like that. I guess all I can say for sure is that the sensation of flying is one of my favorite things in the world. Labels: news 6:20 PMMonday, September 22, 2003 Yes, it's late, and, yes, I should be in bed already. Here is the news, nonetheless. Yesterday, I was going to go with Susan to the Hewitt Community Center where the Amatuer Ballroom Dancing Association meets once a month. I met up with her and Garrett before hand at Chili's where I enjoyed a Chicken Caesar Pita. Anyways, at the last minute I managed to get Aimee to come with us, so I wouldn't be partner-less. It cost $8 a head, but it was well worth it. I think everyone had fun, and I really want to go again next month. Old people are sometimes funny. Today Christian, Jeff, and I got together for some music practice. Once before life group and once afterwards. Both practices went pretty well in my opinion. I'm looking forward to playing some more. It's quite fun. Labels: news 1:19 AMTuesday, September 09, 2003 Well, here's the news. I started my final year at Baylor University just two weeks ago to the day, and so far it has been alright. I recently quit my job at Common Grounds and got a new job working in the computer lab at Mission Waco that I will begin this week. It should be really good, because I will have some time to do homework and read apart from doing the work that the job demands of me. Apart from school and work, I'm trying to get some music together with my friends Christian and Jeff as well as doing some stuff with Jared Himstedt. Unfortunately, I'm not so good with writing words, but I'm working on it slowly. I'm trying to learn how to write songs with other people, which is something I haven't had to do for a while. I really like it, but it's different. And kind of hard sometimes. I took the Storge to the park today. Even though she was kind of scared at first, I think she had a good time with Nalu (Aimee's dog) and Guido (Aimee's neighbor's dog). Labels: news 12:29 AM![]() |
