Chattanooga's a strange place. And, lately, there have been some strange happenings going on... There are condos going up all over the place (many on the river's edge) with prices so high that a good portion of them remain empty. SUVs are parking in the Low Emissions Vehicle spots at the new Greenlife & Rock/Creek complex while Greenlife employees get laid off and demoted left and right since the new store opened (contrary to reports in the local paper). Even most of the graffiti in this town seems to be misguided rebellion toward counter-culture coolness.

So what do we do? I shared my concern with a wise Tetris Master. Here is what she had to say:
Reeve,

i'm not sure... soon chattanooga very well may lose it's title as the scenic city. in that case i can only suggest what the prophets already have....

get your ass to mars.

It's late. I'm awake missing old friends.

Yesterday it got chilly. Today was hoodie weather, for sure, and I remembered how much I love Autumn. It fits when I'm thinking, when I'm sad, when I'm grateful, when I'm asleep, when I'm doing things.

I played a show tonight (Thursday). It was one of my favorites that I've done since being here in Chattanooga. Chattanooga. Does it fit? Places are hard to get used to.

Jessie and I are pretty much jobless (aside from the graphic design thats been keeping me from going under). It's been really nice being able to spend time with Jessie during the week when she would normally be at work. The best part is she'll be visiting Waco with me next week. This is both dope and fresh.

Pinback has some good songs.

I turn pictures of old surgical manuals into photoshop brushes and use them as background textures in generic-looking advertisements. What do you do?
