Our new house has those handles that open from the inside even when they are locked on the outside. It was snowing and friggin' cold outside. Neither of us have any house or car keys. Luckily, when we ran 4 blocks to Michael, Jordan, and Joseph's house, Brittany was there, and she was able to give us a ride to the Kirby's house in downtown Chattanooga where my parents are staying for a few days. I slept on the couch and got up at 7:10 to walk to my ultra-boring temp job 3 blocks down the road which is where I am now, typing this silly story. Have an extra key made. Hide it somewhere outside your house. Here's a short video for your viewing pleasure: Bubbles 9:20 AM Monday, December 31, 2007 Well, I'm sure everyone is sick of the iEverything phenomenon, but I didn't ever think it would come to this... iSnake? Are you kidding me? I mean, non-invasive surgery advancement is super cool, but leeching off psuedo-cool trendy fads is something I expect from cheesy Christians, not scientists. Scientists need to quit listening to their iPods and restrict their creative endeavors to the designing of cool robots!* Bill Nye can still do whatever he wants, though. ![]() Also in the news, a mystery container found on the beach ("Although it looks as if it's empty and it's been ruptured, my advice would be not to go too close to it...") turned out to be a beer fermentation tank. Good one. Wednesday, December 19, 2007 It's late. I just watched Home Alone at the Bijou. It was alright. I would rather watch friends absolutely ruling at music, though. 12:53 AM Monday, November 26, 2007 Here's a little video Robert recorded a while back when we had a show at our house. Shinobu, I Sing the Body Electric, and the Chattanooga Police all did their thing that night. The Rummage followed by a Quaid cover. 2:26 PM Friday, September 28, 2007 I saw this video some time ago and thought about it for some reason again tonight. It is a short presentation on some truly amazing image technology. TED talks - Blaise Aguera y Arcas: Photosynth demo You can read more about Photosynth here: http://labs.live.com They even have a demo you can install and run on your computer... Labels: video 12:01 AMWednesday, September 12, 2007 This reminds me a bit of those Nick Park Creature Comforts videos... I think this concept is genius, and I'd like to see it carried out more often!!!!!!!!! A short documentary: And speaking of Creature Comforts, apparently there is an American version of the show on CBS now? Here's a clip. Although the article doesn't really tell you much, the idea of a Douglas Coupland science fiction TV series sounds pretty awesome to me. I'm still waiting to see Everything's Gone Green (trailer). 12:27 PM Wednesday, January 31, 2007 Break Beat Recipe This video is too good. 6:21 PM Thursday, January 04, 2007 3 things.
